Jerry Lee Forker Jr., 65, of Benton Harbor, passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at his residence.
Cremation has taken place and the family is planning to have a celebration of Jerry’s life at a later date when the weather warms up. Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home is assisting the family. Jerry was born on August 8, 1960 in Benton Harbor, Michigan to Jerry and Delores Forker and was a lifetime resident of the area. He loved to go riding on his Harley and enjoyed sitting back on his porch and watching the deer stroll by. He had built by hand a rather sizable pond in his yard, in which he kept goldfish and koi. It included a waterfall section and various water plants. It was a site to see during the summer months. Jerry also had a giving heart and was always very attentive in the care of his loved ones.
Jerry is survived by his son Brandon (Lauren) Forker of Benton Harbor; his step-daughter Marcy (Brian) Cox of Hartford; step-son Scott (Qiana) Bridwell of Benton Harbor; two brothers, Chuck (Kim) Forker and David (Rachel) Forker, both of Benton Harbor; thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Janet in 2023; and two brothers, Tim and Todd Forker.
Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
