The Southwestern Michigan College Board of Trustees will hold a special public meeting next week to interview a finalist for the position of college president.
SMC says the board will consider the candidacy Dr. Klint Pleasant of Rochester Hills for the job. He currently serves as Senior Vice President of Athletics and as the Special Assistant to the President at Rochester Christian University, where he also spent more than a decade as head men’s basketball coach and previously served as Vice President of Enrollment.
The SMC Board of Trustees will meet on Monday, December 29 following interviews with the search committee and board as part of the college’s national presidential search. The meeting will be held at 10 a.m. in Room 2112 of the David C. Briegel Building.
