Benton Harbor Area Schools is rolling out a new digital communication tool designed to make it easier for families to stay connected with their schools.
The district says starting in January, it will launch Rooms, a feature within the BHAS Roar app that allows parents and guardians to communicate directly with teachers, coaches, and school staff. The platform will serve as a central hub for classroom updates, group messages, and one-on-one conversations.
The district says the system also offers instant notifications, automatic language translation, and a single login for all school and district communications.
Families will automatically begin receiving messages once the platform goes live and can access it through the Roar app or on mobile web devices.
