Rodney Lee Quick 65, of Niles, Michigan passed away on December 8, 2025 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born on January 2, 1960 to Roger Quick and Shirley Barker, and later loving raised by his parents Roger and Charlene Quick.
Rodney built a long and dedicated career as Machinist at Niles Precision until his early retirement. Outside of work , he was known for his deep love of music. A gifted lead guitarist he poured his heart into his music. He shared the stage with his close friends and band mates from Rival, Terra Firma,and Soul Shaker, creating memories and music that will live on.
Family was at the center of Rodney’s life. He is survived by his wife Rebecca; his children Sarah Konzen, Nicole Batteast, Eric Quick. He was Papa to his grandchildren Chelsea, Jennifer, Bradlee, Joshua, Tristan, Liam, Marley, River and great grandson Joel. He is survived by his siblings, Brenda,Shawn, Lisa, Julie, and Jeff.
Rodney’s faith was a guiding light throughout his battle with cancer. His love for the lord strengthened him and shaped how he spend his final years.
Rodney will be remembered for his musical talent, his devotion to his family, and his unwavering faith in God. He will be forever loved and forever missed .
Arrangements have been entrusted to Heritage Chapel, Berrien Springs.
