Marilyn Louise Hettig, age 92, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025. She was born on December 24, 1932, to John and Olga (Zilke) Gosselar in Saint Joseph, Michigan.
A visitation with Marilyn’s family will take place on Thursday, December 18, 2025, from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at the Starks and Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd. Saint Joseph, Michigan 49085. A private burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery. For a more lasting memory, donations in Marilyn’s name can be made out to Compassus Hospice and Palliative Care. Marilyn is survived by her children, John “Keith” (Betty) Hettig, Karen (Gary) Richardville; five grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren; sisters, Janet (Ian) Fennel, Carol (Phillips) Wills; and daughter-in-law, Vicki Hettig. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gerhard Edgar Hettig; son, David Hettig; sister, Gloria Hummel and Dolores Kasischke.
