Marialice Ann Quinn, 72, of South Haven, passed away surrounded by her family, on November 18, 2025 after a brief, but courageous battle with cancer. She was born to the late Paul and Alice (Wespe) Holzmann on April 28, 1953, in Elmhurst, IL.
Following Marialice’s wishes, she will be cremated, and a visitation service will be on Friday, December 5, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. ~ 11:00 A.M. at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church 718 Arbor Court, South Haven, Michigan with the memorial service following immediately after at 11:00 A.M.
She married her husband, James Quinn, on October 23, 1971, in South Haven. He survives along with their 3 children, Adrianna (Michael) Retberg, James (Johanna) Quinn, and Paul (Saydie) Quinn. She has 6 grandchildren, Shawn (Meghan) Quinn, Andrew Quinn, Dakoda Quinn, Austin Retberg, Lyla Quinn and Evan Retberg and 1 great-grandchild River Quinn. Also, surviving is 1 sister, Ida Marie Pensinger, and 1 brother, Paul (Clara) Holzmann. She is preceded by 1 brother, Carl Holzmann.
Marialice will be remembered for her strong faith, unwavering love and devotion for her family. The joy and encouragement she brought to every family moment will be missed.
Marialice had passion for the outdoors, camping, fishing, laughing and telling stories around the campfire with family. She had a love for animals and had many faithful companions that she cared for dearly.
