St. Joe Today is inviting everyone to downtown St. Joseph this weekend for Small Business Saturday, a chance to support the community while finding some deals.
St. Joe Today’s Daniele Crevier tells us while many people hit the big stores on Black Friday, Small Business Saturday will offer something more personal.
“You can find some really unique, locally sourced gifts for everyone on your list, not only here in downtown St. Joe, but again, throughout Southwest Michigan, local merchants offer everything from gourmet foods, handcrafted wines, toys, games, find a really fun Southwest Michigan or St. Joe sweater or something like that,” Crevier said. “It’s just really fun to pour that money back into the community and get a really unique item for somebody on your, on your gift list.”
Crevier says downtown shops will offer free gift wrapping and special deals for the day. She adds when you shop local, the dollars stay local, helping the community stay vibrant.
