Landon Rogers of River Valley High School Cross Country is our WSJM Sports Player of the Week for the week of October 27, 2025.
At the MHSAA Div. 4 State Meet, Landon placed 4th overall with a time of 15:48.1, earning him First Team All-State honors for the 4th time. His performance also earned him Academic All-State honors. The week before, Landon placed 2nd overall at the Div. 4 Regionals with a time of 16:00.7, earning All-Region honors for the 4th time, and leading the Mustangs to a 2nd place team finish and a spot in the State Meet for the 4th straight year.
Landon’s career accomplishments include four time First Team All-State in Cross Country, four time First Team All-State in Track & Field, three time Academic All-State in Cross Country, three time Academic All-State in Track & Field, four time All-Region in Cross Country, nine time All-Region in Track & Field, three time BCS Conference MVP, back-to-back Berrien County Cross Country Champion, Berrien County Champion in 1600 and 3200 Meters in Track, River Valley School Record Holder in 3200 Meters and Cross Country 5000 Meters.
In the classroom, Landon carries a 3.73 grade point average. He has also signed to run Cross Country, and Indoor & Outdoor Track & Field at Grand Valley State University.
