Two adult dogs and a liter of 19 day-old puppies have died in a fire that destroyed an outbuilding on property in Arlington Township near Bangor early Sunday morning.
South Haven Area Emergency Services says Bangor Community Fire Department firefighters, assisted by Columbia Township Fire Department and SHAES, responded to 50205 M-43 at 4:50 a.m. The structure was fully engulfed in flames upon arrival.
A heat lamp near straw is believed to be the cause.
