Emergency crews responded to a house fire in Benton Charter Township on Monday night.
The Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety reports crews were called out Monday evening just after 11 p.m. to the 1300 block of Agard Street to assist the Benton Charter Township Fire Department. Crews arrived to find a small, one-story home heavily engulfed in flames.
Firefighters brought the blaze under control within about 20 minutes. No injuries were reported. The St. Joseph Department of Public Safety and Medic 1 Ambulance also assisted at the scene.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
