A house in downtown St. Joseph is likely a total loss after a fire on Wednesday.
The two-story home at 542 Archer was fully engulfed in flames as firefighters from several agencies responded in the late afternoon.
The homes in that area are closely packed in together, but it didn’t appear any of the neighboring properties caught fire.
No word yet on the cause of the blaze.
The St. Joseph Department of Public Safety is expected to release more information later.
