Maralyn W. Rose, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, 86, of St. Joseph, passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2025.

A prayer service will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at 1PM, at Starks & Menchinger Chapel & Cremation Services, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Deacon Jason Schmidt officiating. Interment will take place following at Riverview Cemetery. Friends may visit with Maralyn’s family on Thursday, October 9th, from noon until the time of the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Southwest Michigan, 5400 S. Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI 49085. Maralyn was born on May 7, 1939, to Charles & Margaret (Duffy) Wolf in New Albany, IN. She graduated from New Albany High School and then continued her education at Purdue University earning an associate degree. On September 5, 1959, Maralyn married the love of her life Terrence Rose.

Maralyn is survived by her daughters, Kymberle Peugh, Tami Rose, and Kelly (Greg) Basham; grandchildren, Dawn Lamas, Terrence Peugh, Billy (Bailly) Basham, Jonathan Peugh and Karly Basham; great-grandchildren, Kalle Munoz and Kadin Munoz; and brother Chiz (Karen) Wolf. She also leaves behind many dear friends, including her cherished “Church Ladies,” with whom she shared countless mornings of laughter and conversation over coffee at Café Tosi’s.

She will be remembered for her warmth, humor, and the deep love she gave her family and friends. Her legacy lives on through the many lives she touched and the memories she leaves behind.

Maralyn was preceded in death by her husband, Terrence Rose; children, Stacy Smith, Clancy Rose and Timothy “T.J.” Rose; and brother Tom Wolf.
