Jeffrey Puckett, 58, of Bridgman, MI, passed away surrounded by love and family. Born on March 16, 1967 in Benton Harbor, MI, Jeff was the son of Franklin Puckett and the late Jill (Blakeman)Puckett.
A proud graduate of Lakeshore High School, Jeff built a career as a technician with AT&T, where he worked for 22 years before retiring. On December 16, 2015, he married Tammy Lucas, his partner in life and adventure, who survives.
Jeff was a man of many passions – riding his Harley playing golf, camping, boating, and spending time with the friends who became his chosen family. He brought warmth, humor, and loyalty to every relationship, and was known for being a wonderful partner, father, son, and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy; his father Franklin (Michelle) Puckett; daughter, Kelsey Puckett, stepchildren Destiny (LJ) Gibson, Michael (Angel) Churchwell, and Jeremy David Gibson Jr. and seven grandchildren: Elizabeth, Isaac, Madyson, Jason, Claira Bella, Madilyn, and Aryanna. Jeff also leaves behind his brothers, Frank (Adi) Puckett and Brian (Kari) Puckett. He was preceded in death by his mother Jill, his son Jeffrey Jr., grandson Kamden, and brother Jack.
Jeff’s legacy lives on in the laughter of his grandchildren, the stories shared among friends, and the memories held by all who know him.
A Celebration of Life visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Palmer Funeral Home – Hoven Chapel, 414 E. Front St. Buchanan, MI 49107.
