Mary Elizabeth Green, age 67 passed away on Monday September 22, 2025 in Kalamazoo, MI.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held in Indiana in the spring of 2026.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Chapel, St. Jospeh.
Mary was born on August 5, 1958 to Robert and Faye (Ball) Stockdale in Crawfordsville, IN. She spent most of her adult life in Camden, TN where she owned the now closed West Tennessee Journal with her former husband, Rickey Green. Mary enjoyed her work laying out and selling newspapers for many years, having started with newspaper work in college at the Purdue Exponent in the 70’s. She also owned her own beauty salon for many years, providing hair and nail services to the community.
Mary was a talented artist. She mainly focused on drawing and abstract art, showcasing her wonderful creative side.
Mary is survived by her daughter, January (Trip) Immer and their children, Vannessa (Adam) Leppek, Mason Immer, and Poppy Immer; son, Dustin (Jana) Irwin and their children, Riley, River, Ella; great-grandchildren, Faye, Liby, and Viola; siblings, Gayle (Geri) Stockdale and Tom (Linda) Stockdale; and several nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Faye.
