Tim Yarbrough, a devoted husband, father, son, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 17th, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, resilience, and adventure. Born on February 20, 1960, in Paw Paw, Michigan, Tim grew up surrounded by a large and close-knit family. From a young age, he worked alongside his father, Jim Yarbrough, learning the value of hard work and building the foundation for a life defined by dedication and care.

Tim was the beloved son of Norma (Figg) Yarbrough, who survives him, and the late Jim Yarbrough. He is also survived by his siblings Richard Yarbrough, Gary Yarbrough, Diane Yarbrough, and Janice Hahn, who shared in his journey and cherished his presence.

Tim’s life was beautifully blended with that of his late wife, Jane, whom he married on October 29, 1988. Together, they built a family rooted in love and unity, raising children from previous marriages and embracing the joys and challenges of a blended household. Tim was a proud father to Melanie Mann and Elton Mann, and a loving stepfather to Steve Figg and Scott Figg.

His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Tristen and Destiney (children of Melanie), Brittany, Olivia, and Hailey (daughters of Elton), Stephen and Austin (sons of Steve and his wife Stacy), and Josh, Carter, Ian, and Amelia (children of Scott and his wife Allie). Tim also leaves behind two cherished great-grandchildren, River and Hunter, children of his grandson Austin Figg.

He is also remembered by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and countless friends whose lives were touched by his warmth and generosity.

Tim and Jane shared a passion for life on the road, spending many years driving big rigs cross-country, often taking their grandchildren along for unforgettable adventures. Their travels took them through the Rockies, Tornado Alley, and vibrant cities like San Francisco, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles. Together, they created cherished memories at Disneyland, SeaWorld, Boomtown, and beyond.

Tim’s greatest joy in life was his family. He loved them deeply and wholeheartedly, and his devotion was evident in every moment he spent with them-whether on the road, at home, or making memories with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His heart was full when surrounded by those he cherished most, and he never missed an opportunity to show how much they meant to him.

In his final year, Tim spent much of his time with his loving daughter-in-law Stacy and grandson Tristen, who helped care for him and his household with unwavering dedication and compassion. Their support and presence brought him comfort and strength, and their bond was a testament to the love that surrounded Tim throughout his life.

Now, Tim is reunited in heaven with his beloved wife Jane, the love of his life and his partner in every adventure. Their bond was unbreakable, and together they built a life rich in love, laughter, and shared dreams. Though he will be missed beyond measure, there is comfort in knowing they are together again, watching over the family they so dearly loved.

A true family man, Tim found joy in the simple pleasures-fishing from his speedboat, cheering on his favorite football and NASCAR teams, and watching game shows like The Price Is Right. He had a deep love for animals and was always surrounded by loyal canine companions, including his beloved dog Chloe, who remains a symbol of his gentle spirit.

Tim Yarbrough’s life was a testament to love, perseverance, and the enduring power of family. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those whose lives he touched.

Psalm 13 “But I trust in your unfailing love;

my heart rejoices in your salvation.

I will sing to the Lord because he has been good to me.”
