Van Buren County 4-H is preparing to host its third Tractor, Truck, or Treat event next month, inviting trick or treaters to head to the Van Buren County Fairgrounds to check out some cool farm vehicles while collecting candy.
4-H Livestock Key Leader Amy Mortimore the event is like Touch a Truck meets Trunk or Treat in that treaters will decorate a tractor, truck, emergency vehicle, or piece of farm equipment that will be used to distribute the candy.
4H says it’s excited to hold the event again because there will be many returning vehicles from last year plus some new ones, like the Lions Club sight testing unit. Food trucks will also be on hand.
Tractor, Truck, or Treat will be on October 4 at the fairgrounds from 1 to 3 p.m. It will be free, and everyone’s invited.
