Janice A. Pratt, 87, of St. Joseph, passed away, Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at Caretel Inns in St. Joseph, where she resided since 2019.

Janice was born February 22, 1938 in Plainwell, Michigan to Benjamin & Norine Newton. She graduated from Otsego High School, Class of 1956, and earned her LPN certification. She later earned her RN degree from Lake Michigan College. Janice dedicated her working career to health care, retiring from Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph in 2000.
Janice is survived by her children-Elaine (Dennis) Hudson-Cuddihy, Robin (Scott) Hamula, Barry (Marylea Mitchell) Pratt, Angela (Randy) Bond, Joseph (Raylene) Pratt; seven grandchildren-Alexander & Benjamin Hamula, Logan Pratt, Joshua (Krystal) Pratt, Daniel Pratt, Matthew (Cheyenne) Bond, Thomas Bond; three great-grandchildren-Aubrey & Gracie Pratt, Eleanor Pratt; and her sister Elaine (Robert) Gaudio. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her former husband Leonard Pratt.
