Connie Irene (Marsh) Hutchinson, 77, of Coloma, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 30, 2025, after a brief illness. Connie was born on October 18, 1947.
She was a devoted, loving mother, wife, sister, daughter, grandmother, great grandmother, cousin, aunt, niece, and friend to so many . She was truly loved by all who knew her.
Connie was known for her servant nature, caring, heart, and creative talents. Caring for others was her gift to so many. She provided counsel, support, rides to appointments, family, knowledge (genealogy), a listening ear, and a conversationalist to anyone she encountered. Connie’s life was a testament to love and to selfless devotion for those closest to her.
Those who live to cherish her memory include her children Nanette Ann Nichols, Scott Allen Nichols (Shawn); grandchildren, Meredith Nichols Magee (Walker) and Gary Nichols; great granddaughter, Georgia Magee, and a host of extended family, church family, and friends.
Connie was proceeded in death by her husband of 52 years, Richard Hutchinson, her parents, Lenore and John Marsh, and her brother John “Sandi” Marsh.
A celebration of Connie‘s life will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at 1 PM at Twelve Corners Community Church, 3287 Hicks Ave., Benton Harbor, MI 49022. The service will be followed by a fellowship luncheon provided by church members.
