Present Pillars in Benton Harbor says all programing planned for its Pillar Center in downtown Benton Harbor is suspended due to problems with the building.
The organization announced on Friday the facility is structurally unsound and unsafe to use at this time.
Nick Gunn with Present Pillars tells us at this point, they’re still planning their next steps and should be able to reveal more soon. For now, there will be no programming at the center on West Main Street while Present Pillars works to promote fatherhood and family in the community remotely.
The organization says it shares everyone’s frustration and understands how disappointing the news is.
