A Paw Paw man is facing a host of charges as part of an investigation into child sexually abusive material.
We’ve reported the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Department searched a home in the 37000 block of County Road 665 in Waverly Township on July 9 after an investigation involving the Michigan State Police Computer Crimes Unit. In the search, police seized several electronic devices.
Now the sheriff’s department says 35-year-old Travis Lane is facing multiple charges of child sexually abusive activity, using a computer to commit a crime, and child sexually abusive material.
Lane was arraigned in Van Buren County Court on July 11.
The sheriff’s department says the investigation is ongoing in conjunction with the Michigan State Police Internet Crimes against Children Taskforce. Anyone with information regarding the investigation is asked to contact the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Department.
