You may remember grabbing a Hot ‘N Now burger decades ago. Soon, you may be able to do it again in some new locations.
The Kalamazoo company was once booming in Michigan, but after filing bankruptcy in 2004, only one remains open, in Sturgis. However, for the first time in decades, they’re ready to expand.
Jeff Konczak is one of the partners of Hot ‘N Now and says they’re manufacturing that classic building in Alpena and delivering it to a site in Wayland, south of Grand Rapids. It’s pre-built and it’s and ready to go.
“Essentially everything is hooked up so when we show up on the site, it’s a vacant piece of ground, and within hours, the building is there, completed,” Konczak said.
Konczak hopes to have that Wayland building delivered and ready to open in the next 45 days.
