The Buchanan Fire Department is offering a babysitting certification class later this month.
The department is teaming up with Pro Safety Innovation for the five-hour session that will be held on July 26.
The department says the class will teach students how to care for children from infancy up to the teenage years. Completing the class will get a student a babysitting certification good for two years.
It’s $40 to take part, and the class will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the 26th.
