It seems like everything is more expensive. What are some ways you could save money?
With tighter family budgets, the AARP has released its annual 99 Great Ways to Save report. Deputy Editor David Brindley says that grocery stores are tricking you into buying more expensive products.
“When you’re looking at the aisles, be sure to look high and low,” Bindley said. “That’s because stores often place pricier items at eye level, while the better deals are located above or below.”
Another tip is to use the self-checkout line to resist those last-minute add-ons. More tips can be found at AARP.org.
