Lake Breeze at Sunset Music Festival announces change in lineup

There’s been a change to the lineup at this month’s Lake Breeze at Sunset Music Festival in St. Joseph.

Festival organizer Bryan Joseph tells us headliner Cindy Bradley has cancelled due to a medical emergency. However, the festival has found a performer to take her place, jazz flutist Althea Rene.

A very talented artist definitely on that level of a Cindy Bradley,” Joseph said. “Althea has not played here in St. Joe or Benton Harbor, Michigan ever. So this is her first time.”

Joseph says Rene will open the festival and play for about an hour, followed by saxophonist Tim Cunningham. He says this will be a great way to spend Saturday evening.

It’s still going to be a phenomenal concert. A lot of excitement. Tickets are still selling. So we still encourage people to come, have a great time and enjoy great music, great food, and the great sunset.”

The Lake Breeze at Sunset Music Festival will start at 6:30 this Saturday at the Shadowland Pavilion. Doors will open at 5. Tickets are still available at the festival’s website.

Joseph says with the Krasl Art Fair on the Bluff taking place this weekend, Lake Breeze will be a perfect way to close out the day.
