How do you think the cruisers used by Michigan State Police stack up against the cruisers used by their counterparts in other states? A new contest being run by the American Association of State Troopers will give you a chance to decide.

The association’s 12th annual “Best Looking Cruiser” contest is now taking votes online. MSP Lieutenant DuWayne Robinson tells us the public can vote on their 13 favorite state police vehicles, and then the winners will be featured in the 2026 “America’s Best Looking Trooper Cruisers” wall calendar.

The Michigan submission show an MSP 2024 Dodge Durango in front of the Mackinac Bridge. Robinson says that’s worth a vote.

To be completely biased, I think we have the best looking cruiser every year,” Robinson said. “I believe we’ve had the best looking cruiser since the inception of state police organizations. So obviously, I’m partial to MSP because that’s who I’ve worked for the past 27 years, and I think we have one of the most unique vehicles in the fleet of state patrol vehicles.”

Robinson asks all proud Michiganders to vote for the Michigan State Police entry. Voting is open now and runs through Friday, July 11. Everyone gets one vote per device.
