With new license plate styles being introduced in Michigan over the past few years, which one is most popular?
It turns out Michiganders are traditionalists. According to the state, the white and blue Pure Michigan plate remains the one that is issued to drivers the most, with just about 795,000 in 2024. That’s more than the other three designs combined.
200,000 of the Mackinac Bridge plates were issued while the blue and yellow Water Winter Wonderland plates were requested by 349,000 drivers. Compare that to about 150,000 of the green and white Water Wonderland plates issued.
