Police are investigating an apparent shootout on Saturday in Benton Harbor.
The Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety says officers were sent to the 600 block of Eighth Street on a report of a shootout in broad daylight. Upon arrival, the found evidence that a shootout had indeed taken place.
One bystander was injured and taken to a hospital. They are now in stable condition.
Police have identified and arrested one person involved in the shootout, and they are looking for more.
