Pat was born on March 20, 1933, in Benton Harbor, to Ralph & Hettie (Purnell) Marks. She graduated from Coloma High School in 1951. On January 27, 1955, Pat married the love of her life, Kaye Knight, at Grace Lutheran Church in Benton Harbor. Together the two of them would go on to have six children. Pat took immense pride in being a mom, however, once the children were older, she took up employment at LECO. She would be there for about 15 years before she changed career paths and began working with Cedarwood Medical Center where she worked as an x-ray technician assistant. After another 15 years, Pat decided she was ready to retire full-time. A proud member of Grace Lutheran Church since 1955, Pat enjoyed volunteering her time in the Alter Guild as well as wherever any help was needed. Whenever she had any spare time, Pat would sew, work on counted cross stitch, tend to her garden, and check in on the stock market. However, what Pat loved the most was spending time with her family, all the family gatherings and all of the cruises & vacations she took with Kaye.
Pat is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Kaye; children, Pam (Mike) Prince, Tom Knight, Linda Koerner, Steve (Shelley) Knight, Jeff (Terry) Knight, and Trish (Rein) Abram; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and sister, Jesslyn Kintup. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph & Hettie; siblings, Jimmy Marks, Betty Agens-Schearer, and Mickey Berry; and grandson, Benjamin Abram.
