One person is recovering after a road rage-related shooting in southern Berrien County early Friday morning.
The Berrien County Sheriff’s Department says it happened on US-12 in Bertrand Township around 3:40 a.m.
Deputies responded to JD’s Truck Stop after getting a report of a person shot. They learned the shooting happened as two vehicles were travelling on US-12.
The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
The sheriff’s department says it has found and arrested a suspect with the help of the Mishawaka Police Department in Indiana.
