Lots of Jeep owners are converging on west Michigan for the Silver Lake Sand Dunes Jeep Invasion.
About 1,500 Jeep owners are gathering in Mears, south of Pentwater, through Sunday. Jeep Invasion board member Angela Todd says they have trail rides, obstacle courses, and more.
“Our spotlight, really, really popular events are our sunset cruises every night to the dunes to watch the beautiful sunset over Lake Michigan with your fellow Jeepers,” Todd said. “Then Saturday is our famous parade to the dunes where a thousand Jeeps parade through mirrors all the way to the sand dunes.”
