Police are investigating after a vehicle struck and killed a pedestrian in Cass County on Sunday.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Department says it happened in the 57,000 block of Wilbur Hill Road in Lagrange Township shortly after 4 a.m.
Arriving officers learned a northbound vehicle had struck the pedestrian, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The names of the pedestrian and driver have not been released.
Assisting at the scene were the Dowagiac Police Department, SMCAS Ambulance, and Pokagon Township Fire Department.
