Dawn Adell King, 72, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 in Edwardsburg, Michigan.
Dawn was born on April 1, 1953 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Lenny Bybee and Wilma (Partridge) ZeBell.
Along with her parents, Dawn was preceded in death by her loving husband, Michael King; son, Ronald G. Pegan II; two sisters, and one brother.
Left to cherish the memory of Dawn is her daughter, Wendy (Zach) Jones; 4 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and one sister.
Dawn will be fondly remembered as a woman of simple pleasures, whose heart was always at home. She treasured every moment spent with her beloved family, cherishing the bonds of kinship and the shared laughter that filled her home.
A true homebody, her world was brightened by the presence of her adored dogs. Her companionship with her furry friends was a source of constant comfort and happiness. Dawn’s loved ones take solace in the fact that she lived her life embracing the things she loved most, with a warm smile and a tender heart.
Her gentle spirit and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Dawn’s memory will be lovingly preserved within the hearts of her family and friends, as they pay tribute to a life lived with wonderful simplicity and abundant love.
In keeping with Dawn’s wishes, a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
