St. Joseph City Manager Emily Hackworth has received a positive performance evaluation from city commissioners.
Hackworth’s annual review was this week as she and commissioners met in a closed session to go over the results.
Commissioner Michelle Binkley tells us Hackworth’s review has found she “is doing a fabulous job and is making meaningful progress on key initiatives.” The review continues, “commissioners appreciate her proactive leadership, dedication, and effectiveness, while encouraging her to balance ambition with sustainability and continue engaging the broader community.”
For her part, Hackworth says she’s “excited to continue working with the city commission and the dedicated team” to move toward the city’s goals. She was just hired as city manager last July after serving as assistant city manager for a couple of years.
Binkley says Hackworth will receive another performance evaluation when she hits her one-year anniversary.
