With President Donald Trump marking 100 days of his second term on Tuesday, Southwest Michigan’s congressional representatives wasted no time praising how things have been going.
As Trump prepared to speak in Michigan, Congressman Tim Walberg put out a statement saying much has been accomplished in 100 days.
“The president has secured our border with illegal border crossings hitting record lows, provided relief at the pump with prices plummeting 6.3% in March, and restored common sense by ending the unfair practice of allowing men to compete in women’s sports,” Walberg said.
Walberg added, “We’re just getting started.”
Meanwhile, Congressman Bill Huizenga, who may be running for U.S. Senate, echoed the sentiments. He said, “President Trump is delivering on promise after promise for the American people. In just 100 days, he has secured our border, unleashed American energy, and restored common-sense regulatory policies to Washington.”
Huizenga also promised this is just the beginning.
