A state organization is launching the “Pothole Payback” contest.
The Michigan Infrastructure and Transportation Association is seeking submissions from Michigan residents whose vehicles were damaged by potholes. They’re asking drivers to submit stories and photos of pothole damage for a chance to win up to $758 to fix their cars and trucks.
Group Vice President of Government Affairs Lance Binoniemi told us more.
“Everyone across the state has a friend or a family member or someone themselves that have bent a rim or blown a tire or broken a strut because of our poor roads,” Binoniemi said.
Binoniemi says the organization will select up to five winners every month through June.
