Damon Arnold Christopher Sr., born on April 9, 1971, in Dowagiac, Michigan, passed away on January 10, 2025, in his hometown. He was a cherished member of the community, known for his outgoing personality and infectious sense of humor.
Damon loved nothing more than spending time outdoors, often found fishing in local lakes or enjoying the beauty of nature with family and friends. He was an exceptional cook, delighting those around him with his culinary skills. His love for family was evident in every aspect of his life; he was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
Damon is survived by his father, Damon Wares; stepmother, Mary Jo Zimmerman; his daughter, Bryanna Christopher; his son, Damon Christopher Jr.; and seven beloved grandchildren—five from Bryanna and two from Damon Jr. He also leaves behind two sisters, a brother, numerous cousins, and a wide circle of friends who will remember him for his creativity, humor, and unwavering support.
His legacy of kindness and generosity will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Damon Arnold Christopher Sr. will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for the joy he brought into the lives of those around him.
