Harold Frank Barber, 94, of Paw Paw passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 26, 2024, in Decatur, MI.
He was born March 4, 1930, in Decatur, Michigan, the son of Danford Frank Barber and Helen (Benedict) Barber.
Harold was an avid outdoorsman and spent time fishing, hunting, watching the birds, swimming and hanging out with his beloved dogs. He had a sweet tooth and loved to enjoy a nice cold Cherry Coke after a long day in the wilderness. Harold adored his family, and his presence will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his son, Stephen Barber; five grandchildren, Tonia (Darren) Arnold, Marne Barber, Mark Barber, Cary (Josh) Johnson and Emily (Dylan) Williamson and his five great-grandchildren, Holden Arnold, Ethan Johnson, Natalie Johnson, Eva Williamson and James Barber.
Harold was preceded in death by his wife, MaryAlice Barber; daughter, Cheryl Barber; son, Bruce Barber; sister, Clare Anne Bolby and brother, Dean Barber.
Cremation has taken place. Per Harold’s wishes, there will be no public services at this time.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw.
