Notre Dame forced UConn into 3-of-16 shooting from 3-point range, while the Fighting Irish were 10 for 18 behind the arc.

The NFC-leading Detroit Lions are playing the AFC East-leading Buffalo Bills in a marquee, late-season matchup that might be a Super Bowl preview. Detroit is the odds-on favorite to win the Super Bowl, according to BetMGM. Buffalo is not far behind as one of the top contenders. The Lions have won a franchise-record 11 straight games, helping them earn consecutive postseason bids for the first time in three decades. The Bills are coming off their first loss in eight games. The game will feature two MVP-candidate quarterbacks in Josh Allen and Jared Goff.

The Minnesota Vikings are on a six-game winning streak entering their game against the Chicago Bears. The Vikings are 11-2 and favored by seven points according to BetMGM odds. The Bears are 4-9 and have seven consecutive losses. That includes a 30-27 defeat in overtime at home against Minnesota last month. Sam Darnold became the first Vikings player with five touchdown passes in a game in 20 years last week in a win over Atlanta. Chicago allowed a season-high 38 points in a loss at San Francisco. Belichick’s five-year deal pays him $10 million in base and supplemental salary per year. It is guaranteed only for the first three years, including for buyout purposes. There is also up to $3.5 million in annual bonuses.
