Lillian Alice Bubanovich, 99, passed away on Monday, October 7, 2024 at St. Paul’s Life Plan Community in South Bend, Indiana.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, October 14, 2024 at Pike Funeral Home, The Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy., Bridgman, Michigan with Reverend Adam C. Clark officiating. Burial will be in Lincoln Township Cemetery, Stevensville. Friends may meet with the family from 10-11 AM on Monday at the funeral home prior to the service. Lillian was born February 4, 1925 in Stevensville, the daughter of the late Reinhold and Lena (Heyn) Spitzer. On November 21, 1948 she married Edward Bubanovich and he preceded her in death on November. 21, 2000. She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Mishawaka. Lillian was an expert seamstress and loved to sew. She was hardworking and self taught.
Survivors include her son, Stephen (Judy) Bubanovich; twin brothers: Gene (Lynn) Spitzer and Gerald (Jean) Spitzer; and sister-in-law, Jeanne Spitzer.
Lillian was also preceded in death by a son, Michael Edward Bubanovich; and a brother, LeRoy Spitzer.
