RoseAnn Nicholas, 75, longtime resident of the Watervliet area, died on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Rose Arbor Place in Kalamazoo.
No service will be held after cremation, per RoseAnn’s wishes. Memorials may be made to Rose Arbor Place in Kalamazoo. Arrangements are by the Florin Funeral Service. Please share memories or messages at www.florin.net.
RoseAnn was born on July 8, 1949 in Benton Harbor to James, Sr. and Julia Nicholas. RoseAnn graduated in 1967 from Benton Harbor High School. She was a longtime office manager for the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. RoseAnn retired in 2008 after 30 years of employment. She was also a member of the North Berrien Senior Center. Rose Ann enjoyed traveling, cooking, gardening, bingo, and going to casinos. She loved her family and enjoyed cooking for them.
Her family includes her sons, Laurence “Nick” (Matthew Bartosik) Nicholas of Thorton, IL and Scott (Joanna) Adams of Watervliet; her brother James Nicholas, Jr. of Benton Harbor; her 3 grandchildren, Ashley Adams, Lindsay Adams, Kaleigh (Nate) Hopper; her great granddaughter Sofia Hopper; and her dog Spartan, who was a beloved and faithful companion.
