Andria Elaine Lightner was a beacon of love and creativity born on August 25, 1980, in Goshen, Indiana. She passed away July 30th, 2024. Andria was a compassionate soul who treasured her family, both by blood and by choice, above all else. If she loved you, there was no doubt in your mind. She brought warmth and joy into the lives of those around her, making her home in Elkhart, Indiana, a haven for all who crossed its doorstep.
Known for her loyalty and creativity, Andria was a master of many trades. She brought her unique imagination to her work as a factory worker in a warehouse, always finding ways to make even the most ordinary tasks extraordinary. Her passion for crafting was unparalleled, and she delighted in creating intricacies with her hands. This passion extended to her love for baking, where she concocted a myriad of goodies to share with friends and family.
Her involvement in the community was substantial, from volunteering at Triston’s school to contributing supplies and actively participating in 4-H every year. Andria had a heart larger than life, never hesitating to extend her help to anyone in need, even a stranger. Andria leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and kindness.

She is survived by her loving husband, James Lightner, and their son, Triston Lightner. She also leaves behind her father, Mike and Roxy Padgett; her mother, Sherri Gonzalez; her sisters, Amy and Rusty Niccum, Amanda and Phil Foster, Danielle and Myron Shrock, Rachel Hanna, and Renae Brown; and her brother, Ryan and Anna Hanna, 20 nieces and nephews and 4 great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Shirley Allred; her uncles, Bryan Allred and Mark Padgett; her stepfather, Donald Watson; Nick and Linda Tetzloff, and her great-nephew, Reuben Niccum. Andria will always be remembered as a loving, compassionate, and creative soul, whose loyalty knew no bounds.
