The United States Postal Service is seeking a new facility in Benton Harbor.
After closing the former location in Orchards Mall last September, the service announced this week it has started its search for a new facility within two miles of the current location. The Postal Service plans to lease either an existing building or land of about 8,500 square feet.
A part of the effort, the USPS is asking for community input.
Retail services will continue at the Benton Harbor Post Office until all necessary preparations are completed at the new location.
