The pain at the pump continues.
A new AAA survey shows Michigan drivers are paying 11 cents more for gas compared to this time last week.
The average price is $3.66 a gallon, but metro Detroiters are paying some of the least expensive prices in the state at $3.63.
AAA spokesperson Adrienne Woodland says she wouldn’t be surprised to see prices go down.
“It wouldn’t be surprising to see prices back off a little bit and decline slightly this week as that demand drops as everyone returns home from their holiday weekends,” Woodland said. “And we also last week saw crude oil prices go down. So if crude oil and demand goes down this week, we could see prices go down as well.”
We’re seeing the most expensive prices in Jackson, Lansing, and Ann Arbor.
