The Berrien County Parks Department will hold a community recycling day in April.
The department says the next Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Day will be at Lake Michigan College in Benton Harbor on April 9, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Berrien County residents can drop off items including household chemicals, electronics, foam, personal documents for shredding, and bicycles. All items are free to recycle, except monitors and TVs.
Each year, the county collects thousands of pounds of trash and arranges for it to be recycled.
