Niles schools officials report another threat has come in against buildings in their district. Both the Niles High School and Ballard Elementary were evacuated while local law enforcement investigated. School officials also extended their investigation to Brandywine Elementary.
School officials say out of an abundance of caution and how long it will take to check each building, classes were cancelled at least for Ballard and the high school. Restricted access is in effect at all schools in the district.
This is the third threat in the last two weeks against buildings in that school district. The two previous threats turned out to be false and authorities said they were made from an IP address traced back to Nigeria.
