Nancy Elizabeth Acosta, 83, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, in Niles, Michigan.
Nancy was born on January 29, 1941 in Niles, Michigan to the late Elmer Lepel and Winifred (Barnes) Lepel.
Along with her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul Acosta; daughter, Paula Moreland; brother, Robert Lepel, and son-in-law, Chuck Roberts.
Left to cherish the memory of Nancy are her children, Susan (Steve) Dumais, Bonnie Roberts, and Robert Acosta; sister, Elaine (Larry) Lee; 6 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
A passionate nurse by profession, Nancy dedicated her life to nurturing the well-being of others with an unwavering devotion that inspired both colleagues and patients.
Nancy’s zest for life extended beyond her career, finding joy in the simple pleasures of baking bread and pies for friends. A woman of strong faith, she cherished her church family and the deep relationships fostered within that community.
She loved playing Bridge with her dear friends, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond. Laughter and stories filled their table, creating memories that would be treasured endlessly. Nancy’s life was a testament to the beauty of friendships, the fulfillment of service, and the enduring power of love.
Per Nancy’s wishes, services will be held at a later date.
