Edgewater Automation has a new president.
The family-owned company says Tim Tate has been named to the role.
Tate joined Edgewater Automation in 2006 as a machine builder, steadily advancing into management roles. He was made a project manager in 2013, and then the director of manufacturing in 2015. Since 2019, he’s been managing director for the St. Joseph automation team.
Tate says he followed the path of mentors he respected and chased his own goals to make it to where he now is. He says anything is within reach.
Meanwhile, Rick Blake has been named as CEO and says Tate “has, over many years in the business, shown himself to be a hard worker, talented manager, and natural leader.” The two say they look forward to growth in the company and “uncovering opportunities to better serve our customers.”
