Brenda Joy Lingle, 63, passed away on Monday, December 18, 2023, in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Brenda was born on January 22, 1960 in Chicago, Illinois to Ronald M. Smith and Janet E. (Cline) Smith.
Left to cherish the memory of Brenda is her loving husband of 44 years, David Roy Lingle; children, Lamanda (Jason) Hilty and Jason (Theresa) Lingle; 5 grandchildren, Chloe Hilty, Emma Hilty, Davey Lingle, Jonah Lingle and Noah Lingle; her parents, Ronald M. and Janet Smith and brothers, Ron Smith and Michael (Sherry) Smith.
After retiring in 2019 from her position as Director of Internal Audit with the Franciscan Alliance, Brenda enjoyed traveling with her husband David, camping, spending time with her family and friends and was an active member of Huntly Baptist Church.
Brenda has touched many lives with her kindness and will be greatly missed by all.
Memorial contributions in honor of Brenda may be made out to Huntly Memorial Baptist Church Mission Fund, 1139 Huntly Rd. Niles, MI 49120.
Visitation for Brenda will be on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Brown Funeral Home, 521 East Main St. Niles, MI. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at 11:00am with visitation 1 hour prior at Mission Hills Memorial Chapel, 61453 M-51, Niles, MI. Burial will immediately follow at Silverbrook Cemetery, 1400 E Main St. Niles, MI.
