Elaine Adele Neugebauer, 90, of Bridgman passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Woodland Terrace of Bridgman.
A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, December 1, 2023 at Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, The Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman, MI 49106. Friends may meet with the family from 10 – 11 AM at the funeral home, prior to the service. Elaine was born on September 24, 1933 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of the late Harry and Mildred (Higgins) Griffith. On December 10, 1955 she married Arthur and they shared 67 years together. Elaine was a graduate of Bridgman High School where she met Arthur. She loved sewing, polka dancing, quilting, and playing the harp with fellow harpists.
Survivors include her husband: Arthur; children: Midge (Dr. Michael) Nolan and Denise (Randy) Clay; grandchildren: Dr. Neil Nolan, Dr. Ian Nolan, Michael Nolan and Tori Abele; and a great granddaughter: Violet Abele.
Elaine was also preceded in death by a son: Walter Neugebauer.
