Hector Pantoja Fernandez,77, of Paw Paw, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2023.
He was born October 14, 1946, in Zamora, Michoacan, Mexico, the son of Enrique Pantoja and Abigail Fernandez.
Hector is survived by his wife, Amalia Lopez, five sisters; Adela (Alfonzo) Perez, Obdulia Pantoja, Monica (late Salvador) Armenta, Maria Guadalupe (Leandro) Rodriguez, two sons; Romeo (Alicia Fausto) and Hector (Adelida Cazares), three daughters; Maribelle (Marcos) Garcia, Marina (Adrian) Mata, Alma Cristina (Manuel) Villegas, four brothers; Alvino (Maria) Pantoja, Demetrio (Bertha) Pantoja, Marcos (Delfina) Pantoja and Hugo (Patricia) Pantoja, eighteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Hector was preceded in death by his parents and one brother: Baudelio Pantoja.
Family and friends are invited to visit Wednesday, October 25, 2023, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home, 502 W. Michigan Avenue, Paw Paw. Mass of Christian burial will follow on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 63559 60th Avenue, Hartford, at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. German Perez-Diaz officiating. Hector will be laid to rest at Wildey Cemetery in Paw Paw.
